What is CNC
CNC is the abbreviation of Computer numerical control,CNC stands for "Computer digital control precision machining", which means that the machine is controlled by a set of commands issued by the controller. The command code issued by the controller is usually in the form of a list of coordinates and is called the G code. Any machine controlled by such a code can be called a CNC machine, including a milling machine, a lathe or even a plasma cutter.
The movement of CNC machines can be defined by their axes, including the X, Y, and Z axes, and, for more advanced machines, the A, B, and C axes. The X, Y, and Z axes represent the main Cartesian vectors, and the A, B, and C axes represent the rotation of the axis. CNC machines usually use up to five axes.
